Surveyor Instrument Person needed for a small civil/land surveying firm in Meriden, CT.
Candidate will assist in the processing and preparation of all types of surveys, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys and construction layout. Responsibilities include performing fieldwork, processing and mapping of fieldwork. Work for this position will be on a variety of project types including residential, commercial and industrial. 2-3 years experience necessary. Salary $25.00 – $40.00 per hour. All Seasons land surveying, located in Wallingford, CT & Millerton, NY, seeks to hire a full-time Survey Project Manager to grow our expanding surveying operation and to work under the direct supervision of our licensed land surveyor to assist with all aspect of surveying.
• 5-7 years’ experience at a party chief level or greater is required for this position
• Candidate must be able to work as a one-person crew utilizing robotic and GPS equipment.
• Candidate to manage all aspects of survey projects from records research to final map drafting.
• Candidate must be experienced with records research, field reconnaissance, boundary surveys, construction staking, AutoCAD drafting, etc.
• Survey licensure not required but is a plus. Ideal candidate is an individual who is actively pursuing licensure or a survey party chief looking for a new challenge.
