The General Membership Meeting this year took place on May 2nd at Powder Ridge in Middlefield, CT. Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, the Emeritus State Archaeologist from UConn, graced the event as the keynote speaker, shedding light on the intriguing intersection between archaeology in Connecticut and land surveying. Angus McDonald, Jr., the Second Vice President, hosted the gathering, which saw an impressive turnout and captivated the audience.

At the end of the evening a drawing of the 50/50 raffle ticket was selected, with Don Smith from BL Companies emerging as the fortunate winner.

The event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and dedicated volunteers, including James Bernardo Land Surveying, The Bongiovanni Group, Brautigam Land Surveyors, and Godfrey Hoffman Hodge.

Brian Florek, our resident auctioneer, added a fun and lively touch to the evening, coaxing everyone to participate in the raffle.

The event was a great success, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among all attendees.

Stay tuned for more exciting events and updates from our vibrant community!
