WEBINAR OVERVIEW:  The final project for GPS Mapping Class at CCSU this spring was to process RTK data into a topography map and surface.  Then, free LIDAR mapping of the campus was downloaded to cover the same area.  Using simple statistical and probability tools, the students evaluated RTK REC topography  accuracy and precision.  The LIDAR surface accuracy and precision was also evaluated in relation to the RTK Surface.  In addition to computing the 95% confidence precision of the two surfaces, we will compute CALS Contour Standards (Sec. 20-300b-11(d)  for both surfaces and evaluate the meaning of the standards.  ASPRS Contour mapping standards are incorporated into the above rules.  Standards for NY and other new England States will be presented.  You are invited to bring your own experience to the webinar to share in the discussion.
