Connecticut has allocated a $2.2 million grant for mapping the topography and elevation of the entire state – data that will eventually be available to the public, authorities say.

The state Office of Policy & Management (OPM) says the grant recipient is the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG), which is administering the project.
